Sales Representation

The Department of Sales Management can hire Stram Hospitality as an extension of their marketing and sales team to specialize in securing and maintaining corporate transient, group, incentive, and leisure business. Hotels are visited by Stram Hospitality providing detailed and necessary information that ultimately will help them increase and exceed market share.

This is accomplished through ongoing face-to-face sales calls to procurement directors, travel directors, travel managers, corporate implants, meeting planners, conference and incentive agents, corporate event agencies, leisure travel agencies/agents, and tour operators.

Marketing

Marketing services help to compliment the sales efforts. Stram Hospitality will assist in developing marketing campaigns through direct mail, GDS, online advertising / promotions through Opt-in travel databases, web site maximization / PPC campaigns, and travel trades. Additionally, Stram Hospitality will create alliances and appropriate cross promotions with retailers to increase visibility and ROI in their respective marketplace.

Sales Training

Selling is strategic. A well thought-out plan must be in place before selling begins...it is the same with sales training.

The most successful sales professionals are those that understand market and customer specific drivers and can successfully utilize that information during the proposal, contracting and the negotiation phases of selling. Stram Hospitality creates customized unique sales training which defines the basics.

The who, what, where, when and why which once understood, empowers sales managers with better communication skills and understanding of motivational factors which drive customers to buy. An initial consulting visit allows for evaluation of how your team currently sells. Then, classes are designed to build on the skill sets of your staff. Training includes pre-work and follow-up classes.

Pre-opening Sales & Marketing Efforts

One of the key and most important needs of many hotels, is the pre-opening strategy. Stram Hospitality will develop, implement and execute, the creation of a marketing plan and Team, which includes: rooms budget, developing collateral, advertising, public relations plan, promotional information and actions for each market segment of the hotel.

Additionally, Stram Hospitality will hire the most effective sales and marketing team for the specific property. The ultimate goal is to have the sales & marketing hotel team anchored for success and ready to launch for the opening of the hotel. The entire process requires a minimum of a six month commitment between the hotel and Stram Hospitality.
